About Us

UDAYAKIRANAM Voluntary Service Society is a non-profit organization based in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, committed to empowering persons with disabilities and supporting senior citizens. Our work focuses on vocational guidance, counselling, early intervention, and community-based rehabilitation, ensuring that every individual can live with dignity and independence.

We serve individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, and age-related challenges by offering skill development, career support, awareness programs, and preventive healthcare services. Through partnerships with families, schools, healthcare providers, employers, and local communities, we build sustainable service models for both rural and urban areas.

At UDAYAKIRANAM, we believe in empathy, empowerment, and equity. By creating opportunities for learning, livelihood, and social inclusion, we strive to build a society where every person is valued and included.

Our Story

The journey of UDAYAKIRANAM Voluntary Service Society began with a simple yet profound vision: to create a society where persons with disabilities and senior citizens are not merely cared for, but empowered to live with dignity, independence, and purpose. Founded in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, the organization was born from the belief that every individual, regardless of ability or age, deserves the opportunity to thrive, contribute, and belong.

Humble Beginnings

The story of UDAYAKIRANAM Voluntary Service Society began with a vision rooted in compassion and the desire to create meaningful change. Our founder, Kiran Reddy, recognized the challenges faced by persons with disabilities and senior citizens in both urban and rural communities. In the early days, our efforts were small but deliberate — engaging directly with families, listening to their struggles, and understanding the gaps in services available for individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, and the elderly.

From these initial conversations and observations, UDAYAKIRANAM was born. What started as a heartfelt initiative soon evolved into a structured organization committed to empowerment, inclusion, and social awareness. The humility of our beginnings taught us the value of empathy, personalized care, and long-term commitment, laying a strong foundation for the transformative work we do today.

Vision Translated into Action

From those initial steps, UDAYAKIRANAM quickly evolved into a structured organization with dedicated programs for vocational guidance, skill development, counselling, preventive health, and community-based rehabilitation. Each initiative was designed to be person-centered, addressing not just immediate needs but also long-term empowerment and inclusion.

Our Approach

At UDAYAKIRANAM, our approach is holistic, person-centered, and community-driven. We believe that true empowerment comes not just from services provided, but from fostering environments where individuals can grow, learn, and thrive. Our programs are designed to address both preventive and rehabilitative needs, ensuring that every person — whether a child with disabilities or a senior citizen — receives guidance, support, and opportunities tailored to their unique circumstances.

We combine vocational guidance, skill development, counselling, awareness campaigns, and community-based rehabilitation to create sustainable pathways for independence and inclusion. Our approach is collaborative: we work closely with families, educators, healthcare providers, employers, and community stakeholders to ensure that interventions are effective, practical, and culturally sensitive. By emphasizing empathy, respect, and integrity, we not only deliver services but also build trust, foster resilience, and encourage social participation.

Every step we take is guided by the belief that everyone has potential, and with the right guidance and support, barriers can be transformed into opportunities for growth, learning, and self-reliance.
