Our Work: Building Skills, Creating Opportunities

About Us

UDAYAKIRANAM Voluntary Service Society is a non-profit organization based in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, committed to empowering persons with disabilities and supporting senior citizens. Our work focuses on vocational guidance, counselling, early intervention, and community-based rehabilitation, ensuring that every individual can live with dignity and independence.

We serve individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, and age-related challenges by offering skill development, career support, awareness programs, and preventive healthcare services. Through partnerships with families, schools, healthcare providers, employers, and local communities, we build sustainable service models for both rural and urban areas.

At UDAYAKIRANAM, we believe in empathy, empowerment, and equity. By creating opportunities for learning, livelihood, and social inclusion, we strive to build a society where every person is valued and included.

Our mission

At UDAYAKIRANAM Voluntary Service Society, our mission is to empower persons with disabilities and senior citizens through vocational guidance, counselling, skill development, and community-based rehabilitation. We work to create sustainable models of care and inclusion, raise awareness in society, and build opportunities for every individual to live with dignity and independence.

We are committed to addressing needs at both the preventive and rehabilitative levels, ensuring that each person we serve gains the confidence, skills, and support needed to thrive in everyday life. By mobilizing families, communities, and institutions, we foster an environment of compassion, awareness, and acceptance.

Our Value

At UDAYAKIRANAM Voluntary Service Society, our work is guided by values that define who we are and how we serve:

  • Empathy – We put ourselves in the shoes of those we serve, listening deeply to their needs and challenges. Empathy allows us to provide meaningful guidance and create services that truly support individuals and families.
  • Kindness – Every small act of kindness has the power to transform lives. We strive to spread positivity, compassion, and encouragement in all our interactions, making those we serve feel valued and cared for.
  • Respect – We honor the dignity and uniqueness of every individual. Respect means treating all persons — regardless of age, ability, or circumstance — with fairness, equality, and recognition of their worth.
  • Commitment – Our work goes beyond temporary support. We are dedicated to walking alongside our beneficiaries, offering consistent guidance, long-term rehabilitation, and a promise of unwavering support.
  • Inclusion – We believe in a society where barriers are removed and everyone has the opportunity to participate fully. Inclusion guides us to create environments that welcome, support, and celebrate diversity.
  • Integrity – We operate with honesty, transparency, and accountability in everything we do. Integrity ensures trust between us, our beneficiaries, partners, and the communities we serve.

Together, these values inspire us to build a future where persons with disabilities and senior citizens live with confidence, dignity, and purpose.
